With the key concepts of ‘on-road’ and ‘tough, fast, and classy’, the complete car SUBARU FORESTER tS has been designed to add a quality feel to the pleasure of driving on-road offered by its base car. In order to further evolve the ‘flexible yet elegant driving feel’ which STI aims for, dedicated front / rear dampers and coil springs are combined with 19-inch BBS forged aluminum wheels and 19-inch tires. Further, Brembo brakes, a Flexible Tower Bar, and a Flexible Draw Stiffener Front / Rear have been fitted. Additionally, a newly developed Flexible Support Subframe is used. With detailed tuning to the ECU/TCU (engine control unit and transmission control unit) the model realizes an exhilarating acceleration feel gained from the quick response to maneuver from the accelerator, and smooth driving. Meanwhile, high safety performance is also realized through special tuning applied to the VDC (vehicle dynamics control) and EyeSight. As for the design, the uniqueness of this model is further characterized by the large front spoiler and rear under spoiler, as well as the detailed exterior paintwork. Through an upgraded seat surface, an extra high-quality feel has been rendered together with enhanced silence inside the car.
