The SUBARU BRZ tS is a model with 2015 specifications which further enhances the tS series’ pursuit of synchronizing the behavior of the car with the driver's intention. In addition to the recently developed flexible V-bar, designed for the BRZ frame structure, the BRZ tS is newly equipped with STI Bilstein dampers and other features. Attaching Flexible Draw Stiffeners on the front and utilizing pillow balls in the rear suspension link bushes firmly enables the functionality of the high-performance tires to achieve flexible movement and ride comfort. In addition, STI Brembo brakes introduce a new drilled disc rotor to stabilize the μ (a coefficient of friction) between the disc and pad surfaces and thereby increasing reliability under all conditions. Other mechanisms from the 2013 specification released in August 2013 that continue to be featured include a large diameter drive shaft and the specially tuned VDC (Vehicle Dynamics Control). As for the interior, red stitching and accents have been applied to each component, and Alcantara (black) is used for the special RECARO front bucket seats and door trimmings. The exterior features a unique Sunrise Yellow color with 18-inch aluminum wheels and door mirrors which are painted in black, as well as front fender garnishes, and a shark fin type roof antenna as distinguishing points.
