As the first STI road car of LEVORG, this car intended to be a "complete form of the STI Sport" with further sharpened "dynamic quality" and "static quality" while preserving the original concept of the STI Sport. To represent that evolution, this car has been given a "♯" (sharp) in its name, reflecting a semitone rise in pitch in a musical score. In any car, there is always a slight delay in the car's response to the driver's steering. The delay creates a discrepancy between the driver's intentions and the car's reactions, and the driver cannot feel the pleasure and exhilaration of driving because of that. The STI Sport ♯ has been tuned to reduce this delay radically. To achieve the handling performance that enables the driver to precisely trace their intended driving line, this car is equipped with a newly developed Flexible Draw Tower Bar to improve its “dynamic quality.” Incorporating a draw mechanism into the conventional Flexible Tower Bar helped to elevate the level of response with the most subtle steering input, while absorbing road vibrations and noise to deliver a polished, high-quality ride without a raw feel. Flexible Draw Stiffeners are installed at the front and rear to apply appropriate tension to the vehicle body, enhancing the sense of unity between vehicle behavior and driver input. By equipping with BBS 19-inch forged aluminum wheels and Michelin high-performance tires, specially designed for this model, it delivers outstanding responsiveness to subtle steering inputs and precise steering feel, while achieving a refined and comfortable ride. Equipped with a Subaru Performance Transmission Fluid Cooler as a cooling component, this model prevents heat-related issues during sporty driving and enables the powertrain’s full potential to be realized. To improve the ‘static quality,’ black highlights applied to exterior parts present a mature and sophisticated level of sportiness.
