This is a performance-oriented muffler kit with reduced backpressure. Its airflow resistance is about 29% lower than a standard specification muffler.
Thorough tuning of the backpressure and sound has realized a response and a pleasant sporty sound which suits the character of the horizontally opposed naturally aspirated engine.
The combination of the dual center type exhaust layout and dedicated garnish gives a sportier look to the exterior too.
Tail pipe area: 70 mm diameter dual center outlet layout; engraved with the STI logo.
