Based on the SUBARU BRZ, a pure sports car with a combination of a horizontally opposed 2-liter NA Engine and an FR layout, the SUBARU BRZ tS has been developed as an STI road car, featuring STI's original specifications mainly in the suspension, brakes, and chassis. This model is characterized by improved driving performance through the introduction of the 17-inch Brembo brakes and an STI original large-diameter driveshaft, while further enhancing the pleasure of driving which the base model offers. As for chassis tuning, an aspect of STI’s specialty, a dedicated front damper and rear damper, as well as special coil spring have been combined with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. Further, a Flexible Tower Bar Front, Flexible Draw Stiffener Front, and a rear suspension link with its pillow ball bush have been added, achieving a ‘flexible yet elegant driving feel’ which STI is known for. Finally, this model is peppered with elements that inspire the realm of sensitivity such as a specially tuned VDC (vehicle dynamics control) and improved quality of engine air intake sound through special filter tuning for Sound Creator®.
