STI announces new president April 1, 2010  - Vol.10/001 
Subaru Tecnica International Inc. (STI) announces that Hiroyuki Karamatsu will become the new president of STI on 1st April, 2010, taking over from Takeshi Tachimori.
Karamatsu, 55 years old, joined Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd.(FHI) in 1977. After first working in the Administration Department at the Mitaka Plant, he has held a range of positions, mainly in overseas sales, including being stationed at overseas Subaru Sales companies in Taiwan and the U.S.A, acting as the General Manager of the Overseas Parts Department in the Subaru Parts and Accessories Division. From 2007, he assumed the post of General Manager of FHI Asia Pacific & Latin America (North America, Europe, Middle-East, Africa and all regions except Japan), Sales and Marketing Department in the Subaru Overseas Sales and Marketing Division 2. From this April, he will control STI operations, making the best use of his knowledge and corresponding wide range of overseas sales experience.
The current president, Mr. Tachimori assume the post of Corporate Senior Vice President of FHI on the 1st of April, 2010.
